Music is magic. Music it a force that moves people and can drastically change lives. Music is a staple, it is what makes humans unique. From beautiful symphonies to heavy metal, from Hip-Hop to J-pop today i will show you what i consider my top ten favorite songs. (note not all these songs are child friendly just my favorites.)
10. Number 10 on the list is a gong called KARATE by BabyMetal. BabyMetal is a Young japaneese Metal band. Being an inter national artist i feel they deserves a spot on this list.
9. this next song is Don't Let me Down by TheChainSmokers . This is just a modern song that i really enjoy listening to.
8. Summer of 69' is the next song by artist Bryan Adams. Now this song doesn't justify the music from this era in one song, but knowing almost every word helped make it onto this list.
7. Moana, was such a great movie there is no reason, How far I'll go, sung in multiple languages, couldn't make this list.
6.Martin Garix and Bebe Rexha did an amayzing job on the song In the Name of Love. It is probably my favorite modern songs out today.
5. The twin harp sisters took a classic metal song One by Metalica and turned it into a beautiful classical piece, truly proving that rock and roll from the gods.
Now that ten through five are done the top five start to get to be more personal songs.
4. to start off the top Four is Gnash's I hate you, I love you. This song is very in terms of lyrics and emotion, but the one lone that sticks out the most for me is "Friends can break your heart too, and I'm always tired but never of you." That is why this song is Number Five.
3. Number 3 is none other than Afroman's Colt 45, this song always brings me and my best friends together for some really bad singing and some really great times.
2. Mocking bird by Eminem really hits home for me. Mostly because the timing for the release of the song but also the content in it, this song came out right as my parents split up and was sort of mt theme song as i grew up in a split house hold.
1. Number One on my list is a song titled Sloppy Seconds By George Watskey on his album titled Cardboard Castles. Sloppy Seconds is a bit of a sappy song, but also has a really deep meaning to it. the song refers to a lot of things we take for granted, and talks about memories that can be made from just about anything. Watskey clearly lays out that just because something or someone has been used or is old doesn't make them any less cool, usable or any less still able to make memories. Plus its the song reminds me of my best friend, and our relationship.
